Norway Seeks Feedback on Resident Discounts for Flights in Lofoten and Vesterålen

On 5 November, Norway’s Ministry of Transport opened a consultation on a proposed pilot scheme for resident discounts on regional flights serving Lofoten and Vesterålen. The consultation follows an earlier study by the Institute of Transport Economics, but no confirmed programme budget or ticket-discount amount was announced. The proposal creates opportunities for regional airlines, tourism operators and travel-service providers if implemented.
