On 26 October, Infrastructure South Africa released its 2026/27 Construction Book, identifying 110 infrastructure projects with an estimated combined value of approximately R395 billion across transport, energy, water, social, municipal and digital infrastructure. The pipeline is expected to progress towards procurement and construction over the coming 12–18 months, creating opportunities for public-sector consultants, project managers and infrastructure technology providers; the amount represents planned projects rather than completed government spending.
